AbstractUm satélite em órbita em torno da Terra, é submetido a algumas forças entre os quais o arrasto atmosférico. Para o estudo das influências dos arrastos atmosféricos no movimento de satélites artificiais vários modelos analíticos têm sido propostos para descrever a densidade atmosférica. Neste trabalho alguns modelos foram elaborados, implementados e comparados: o modelo exponencial, o modelo com altura de escala linear o modelo com altura de escala quadrática e o modelo TD-88. ABSTRACT: A satellite in orbit around the earth, it is subjected to some forces including the atmospheric drag. To study the influence of atmospheric drags the motion of artificial satellites several analytical models have been proposed to describe the atmospheric density. In this work some models have been developed, implemented and compared: the exponential model, the linear scale height, the quadratic scale height and the TD-88 model.
